How Much Do You Know About Stonewall Manor – Take Our Quiz

You can see a beautiful, stately manor sitting on the top of a grassy hill as you drive along highway 64. It’s a local treasure named Stonewall Manor, built by Bennett Bunn and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its classic, antebellum structure has made it a Rocky Mount landmark.

Eastern Carolina BBQ Throwdown Continues to be a Tasty Delight for Rocky Mount

If you’re from the South, barbecue is a part of your heritage as much as church potlucks and sweet tea. In October, Rocky Mount held one of its most popular annual events: the Eastern Carolina BBQ Throwdown. The event, which is sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Society, included over 50 cooking teams and 60 certified judges, drawing thousands of participants and spectators, according to the Rocky Mount Telegram.
