Remembering a Titan: The Life of Herman Boone

Herman Boone, a Rocky Mount native, was the inspirational coach behind the movie “Remember the Titans,” in which he was portrayed by Denzel Washington. He passed away on December 18 at the age of 84 from lung cancer.
