Over 31,000 households receive electricity, natural gas, water and sewer services from the City of Rocky Mount. During this year’s Annual Engineering and Operations Technical Conference, Rocky Mount Public Utilities (RMPU) earned two prestigious awards from the American Public Power Association (APPA) for their ability to provide power safely and efficiently to the population.
APPA is a national organization representing more than 2,000 not-for-profit, community- and state-owned electric utilities.
